Based in Brighton and operating throughout the UK, our work is built on a simple principle: to create and maintain innovative, visually arresting, environmentally sympathetic green roofs that contribute to a healthier, more diverse, greener and cleaner environment. Every roof is built with mindfulness towards its environs and those who will use and observe it.
We can retrofit most structures with a living roof and undertake all aspects of interior and exterior construction and renovation. Our commitment to a genuinely sustainable programme of building means that we take very seriously the need to help you limit the impact of your project. We encourage the use of locally grown and milled timber and have developed links with the Brighton Woodstore Recycling Project to ensure that reusable timber is collected and re-used.
Our intention is that every Organic Roof should make as significant as possible a contribution to increasing urban biodiversity and we aim wherever possible to install wild flower and grass roofs which are a rich habitat for invertebrates and rare birds. However, we recognise that no two projects are alike and in some cases the structural constraints mean that the use of a lightweight sedum roof is a necessary compromise.
